In 1939, Preston Hollow was a self-contained municipality, provisioned by the Preston Road Fresh Water Supply. Preston Hollow is known for its creeks, hollows and wooded areas. Preston Hollow area is broadly defined as being north of Northwest Highway, south of Forest Lane, east of Midway Road and west of North Central Expressway.
